01Running the store

Every size, every order, off the spreadsheet.

Every picture here is the real screen, drawn by the software itself with a sample club’s products in it. The demo walks through each one live.

Products

Everything you sell, in one list.

Each product with its photos, its price — a range when sizes are priced differently — what is in stock and what has sold. Filter by status or category, search, sort, and export the list to a spreadsheet.

  • Active, Draft or Archived: only active products can be bought
  • A compare-at price shows crossed out, for a sale
  • Featured products come first in the store, with a badge
  • Duplicate a product to add the same shirt in a new colourway

Products: eight products with a photo, category and number of sizes, their status, price, units in stock with how many sizes are running low, units sold, and Edit, Duplicate and Delete on each row.

Sizes and colours

Every size its own stock.

Name the options — size, and colour if it has one — and every combination becomes a row with its own SKU, its own stock and, if you want, its own price. Presets fill in the sizes you use most; fill-every-row buttons set the prices, the stock and the SKUs in one go.

  • Size presets: Adult, Youth, Women’s, Socks and Hats
  • A size guide on the product page, written your way
  • Held shows units in orders still waiting for payment
  • Photos uploaded straight from the editor; the first one is the cover

A practice tee's sizes and options: sizes S, M, L and XL and colours Navy and Gold, the size presets, buttons to fill every row, and eight rows each with its SKU, price and units on hand.

Inventory

What is left, size by size.

One row for every size of every product, with what is on hand, what is held and what is available. Count a delivery in, correct a stock-take, write off a damaged shirt — each change is kept in the size’s ledger with who made it and why.

  • Running low and Out of stock at a glance, and on the dashboard
  • A sold-out size cannot be ordered, unless you choose to keep selling it
  • Stock comes off when a payment is confirmed, never before

Inventory: every size of every product with its SKU, units on hand, held and available, a running-low or out-of-stock chip, and a way to add or set the stock in place.

Orders

Every order, and what it still needs.

Orders from the store and from every event shop in one list, sorted into what needs doing: to fulfil, ready for pickup, shipped, completed, awaiting payment, cancelled and refunded.

  • The buyer, the items, pickup or ship, the total and the payment on every row
  • An event shop’s orders say which shop they came from
  • A new order is emailed to you as it comes in
  • Export the list to a spreadsheet

Orders: tabs for to fulfil, ready for pickup, shipped, completed, awaiting payment and cancelled, then each order with its number, buyer, items, pickup or ship, total, payment and fulfilment status.

One order

Pack it, ship it, refund it.

Everything about one order and the buttons that move it on. Mark it ready for pickup or picked up; mark it shipped with the carrier and tracking number, or buy the label right there from your shipping account. The buyer is emailed at each step.

  • Refund all or part of it back to the card, and put the items back into stock
  • A packing slip to print, with no prices on it
  • The buyer’s note, your staff note and the order’s history
  • Email the receipt again when somebody cannot find it

One paid order to ship: Mark shipped with the carrier and tracking number, Packing slip, Email the receipt again and Cancel and refund, then the buyer and their note, the address it ships to, the payment with Refund, and the items with the discount, shipping, tax and total.

Sell in person

The merch table, on the same stock.

Tap a size to add it, choose how it was paid, and complete the sale. The units come off your stock at once, so the store online never sells the hoodie you just handed over the table.

  • Cash, Credit card, Pay by Tap on your own card reader, Card on another terminal, No charge (comp) or Other
  • A reference for the cash box or the card terminal’s receipt
  • A receipt emailed when you give the buyer’s address

02Event shops

A shop for every event. Pickup at the venue.

Each of your tournaments and ticketed events can have its own mini-store: the products you pick, at their own prices if you like, from the same stock as your store.

Setting one up

Choose the event, tick what it sells.

Pick one of your tournaments or ticketed events, name the shop, add a line for the top of the page, and tick the products. Give the event hoodie its own price, or leave a product at the store’s.

  • Pickup at the event: where at the venue, and what to tell the buyer
  • Shipping on or off for this shop
  • Opens and Closes after dates, so the shop runs itself
  • Its own link to Copy into the registration email or the schedule
  • The event’s page in Tournaments and Tickets links straight to its shop
See it in a demo
An event shop for the Sunshine Fall Classic: its public link with Copy and Open, the tournament, the shop name, its line at the top, status and dates, pickup at the merch table by court 1 and shipping, and the products ticked with the hoodie at its own price of $45.

What families see

The event’s own page.

The shop’s name, the event’s dates and city, your line at the top, where to pick it up, and only the products this shop sells, at this shop’s prices.

  • Order before the event, collect it at the merch table
  • Or have it shipped home, when the shop ships
  • Closed shops say so, and when they open
The Fall Classic Merch page: the event's dates in Kissimmee, the line about picking up at the merch table by court 1, pickup and shipping, and four products with the hoodie at $45.

Point of sale

Passes and merchandise at the door.

Open the event shop’s counter on a tablet or phone at each table. Tap the event’s passes and the shop’s products into one sale, take the money, and the passes appear as tickets with a code for the gate and a code to download to the phone.

  • Cash, Credit card, Pay by Tap on your own Stripe card reader or Square Terminal, Card on another terminal or a comp
  • A counter link for the staff at your tables: no sign-in, and nothing else in your account
  • A printed setup sheet with the link’s QR code for each table
  • In the shop’s own colours, banner and background

History

Lost a pass? Find the sale.

Every sale made at a counter, newest first, with the passes sold, the comps and what was taken. Search a buyer’s or a pass holder’s name, then show, print or email their passes again in seconds.

  • Search by name, email, reference or order number
  • Show passes, Print or Email them again — the same passes and codes
  • A pass refunded in Tickets is marked, and never sent again
  • Counter sales count in your ticket reports like any other
A counter's sales history: the Sales, Passes, Taken and Comps figures, a search box, and each sale with when it was sold, its passes and holders, the buyer, how it was paid, the total and Show passes.

03Your store online

One link. No account to make.

Your store has its own address, in your club’s colour. Parents and fans browse, pick sizes and pay by card — on a phone as easily as at a desk.

The store

Your gear, in your colour.

Your store’s name and line, pickup and shipping up front, then the products with their photos and prices. Buyers filter by category, search, and sort by featured, newest or price.

  • A Save badge when a product is on sale
  • How many colours a product comes in, on its card
  • Closed while you get ready — with a preview link only you have
The Sunshine Volleyball Shop: its name and line, pickup at the venue and shipping free over $75, the categories, search and sort, and seven products with photos and prices.

Product and checkout

Choose a size, pay, done.

The photos, the price, a button for every size — a sold-out size crossed out — the description, the size guide and your returns policy. The bag keeps what they chose; checkout asks for their details, pickup or shipping, and the card.

  • Prices worked out on the server at every step, never taken from the browser
  • The last one in stock can only be sold once: items are held while the buyer pays
  • A discount code box, and live shipping rates by address when you use them
  • A receipt by email, with the order’s link to come back to
The hoodie's page: its photo, a price from $48 to $52, a button for each size from Youth M to 2XL with 2XL sold out, the quantity, pickup and shipping, the description, the size guide and the returns policy.

04Your company

Your accounts. Your money.

The Store is switched on for a company — a club, a tournament director, an event company — and given to the people who run its merchandise.

Payments and shipping

Cards are charged through your company’s own Stripe or Square account — the one already on its Business Profile. Shipping runs on your own account too, entered once in Business Profile → API Keys → Shipping.

  • Every payment checked with Stripe or Square before an order is marked paid
  • Refunds back to the card through the same account
  • Pickup, a flat shipping charge with free shipping over an amount you set, or live rates
  • Live rates and labels from EasyPost, Shippo, USPS, UPS or FedEx, charged to your account

Codes, and a store for officials

Discount codes for teams, coaches and volunteers, and a members-only store for an assignor’s officials.

  • Percent off, Amount off or Free shipping, with a smallest order, dates and a most-uses count
  • A code for the whole store, or for one event shop only
  • Members only: the officials on an assignor’s roster buy their uniforms, signed in
  • Officials find it on their dashboard and their phone’s Game Day view

Discount codes

A code for the team, the coaches, the volunteers.

Every code with what it does, where it works, when, how many times it has been used and whether it is still working — Active, Scheduled, Used up or Ended. A code is counted when its order is paid, so a code limited to thirty uses stops at thirty.

06Questions

What clubs ask first.

Anything not here is a good question for the demo.

Who is this built for?

Clubs selling their own gear, tournament directors selling event merchandise, event companies with ticketed events, and assignors outfitting their officials. A company switches the Store on and gives it to the people who run its merchandise.

What does the Online Store cost?

Nothing, for a company that sells its event tickets through iPLEXsports: your store, an event shop for every event and the point of sale at the door. Tickets are 50¢ each, the only thing the platform charges an organiser for. Card payments run through your own Stripe or Square account, at your own processing rate.

Can I sell clothing in sizes and colours?

Yes. A product can have up to two options, such as size and colour, and every combination has its own SKU, its own stock and, if you want, its own price. Presets fill in adult, youth and women’s sizes, socks and hats. A product with no sizes, like a cap or a bottle, is just as easy.

What is an event shop?

A mini-store for one of your tournaments or ticketed events. You tick which products it sells, give any of them its own price, set pickup at the venue, shipping or both, and when it opens and closes. It has its own link and sells from the same stock as your store.

Where does the money go?

Into your company’s own Stripe or Square account, the one on its Business Profile. Every payment is checked with Stripe or Square before an order is marked paid, and a refund goes back to the buyer’s card through the same account.

How does shipping work?

You choose: pickup, a flat shipping charge with free shipping over an amount you set, or live rates from your own EasyPost, Shippo, USPS, UPS or FedEx account. With live rates the buyer picks the service at checkout, and you buy the label from the order.

Can I sell at the event too?

Yes. Each event shop has a point of sale: open its counter on a tablet or phone at each table and sell the event’s passes and the shop’s merchandise in one sale — paid in cash, by a card typed in, by a card tapped on your own Stripe card reader or Square Terminal, by card on another terminal, or as a comp. Your staff use a counter link with no sign-in. The stock comes off at once, and passes are shown, printed or emailed.

What card readers work at the counter?

A Stripe card reader — the BBPOS WisePOS E or the Stripe Reader S700 or S710 — on a Stripe account, or a Square Terminal on a Square account. You pair it yourself under Business Profile, with no app to install: the counter sends the amount to the reader, and the buyer taps, inserts or swipes.

Do buyers need an account?

No. Parents and fans open the link, choose sizes, and pay by card. The only exception is a members-only store, which is for an assignor’s officials, signed in.

Can an assignor sell uniforms to their officials only?

Yes. A members-only store is open to the officials on that assignor’s roster. They find it on their officials dashboard and their phone’s Game Day view, and nobody else can see what it sells.
